Here's an art post of random silly things I've drawn lately. We'll start with Adventure Time!

Now for some non-fanart original stuff!

HUMANIZED RESCUE RANGERS

Here's some half-finished "Humanized Rescue Rangers" doodles that I forgot about until I dug them out of one of my MANY "unfinished ideas" folders. LOL

Monotonous office jobs can be surprisingly inspiring. I even managed to incorporate color for the first time!!

Sharpie highlighters are perfect for 80s icons!

And here's some non-fanart (believe it or not, I do have a tiny shred of originality!)
Scribble Time!! )

Got this idea during a fit of boredom and couldn't let it go.

I'm honestly surprised no Japanese company ever approached WB to make an anime or RPG based on Scooby Doo. If nothing else, it would be interesting to see this franchise through the eyes of insane Japanese game developers.

In one of my old Disney comics (a book from 1991) I saw this ad for a Final Fantasy comic book featuring art by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola! It looks like Kingdom Hearts wasn't the first Disney/Square cross-over after all!

...Naturally, I was intrigued. But upon searching, I found out that this comic never made it to press. Neither of the sites I buy from had it listed and the only hits I got from search engines were other people who saw this ad in a Disney comic and were also trying to figure out if this thing actually existed or not.

I'm a little disappointed that this thing was never published. It looks like it would have been gloriously campy (check the mullet on the upper left)!

Oh, in case you're wondering what book I found this ad in, here it is:

Well, I recently found out that yet ANOTHER Kingdom Hearts game with a ridiculously stupid subtitle (Birth by Sleep) just came out on the PSP. I'm still a bit peeved at this series for having the potential to be awesome beyond belief and then screwing it up in the sequels by adding in a bunch of boring original characters with convoluted, angsty back-stories.
So I decided to vent my frustration in comic form. Enjoy:

Confession time: I don't care what the haters say, I freakin' LOVE Final Fantasy X-2! I know the pop music is cheesy and the girls are all dressed in hideous, slutty fanservice costumes. But it's just so fun to play! And I love the positive, upbeat tone of the whole thing. And having an all-girl battle party for the entire duration of the game just kicked serious ass!
That said, I think the ending could have been improved if this scene had been added:
