Here is a doodle of some great kids I met while working the restaurant this month....

"Little Finn" was by far my favorite. Here is the rundown of my encounter with him....

Gravity Falls cross over.....
Nov. 8th, 2012 11:29 amI'm currently in recovery from my post-election chocolate binge. So I tried making something happy. Enjoy!

I started watching Gravity Falls a few weeks back and the first thing that struck me was this:

I once again wondered exactly what Fred and Shaggy do together as buddies when the girls are gone. I imagine they'd both get a kick out of video games. So I drew them playing in their goofy pajamas.

I spend my days at the call center doodling random stuff like this at my desk:

I can't help wondering if my co-workers think it's adorable or secretly believe that I'm insane. Both scenarios are equally fine with me. LOL
Have some more randomness!

Scooby Fanart: "Bromance"
Sep. 29th, 2012 07:24 pmAnother "bored at work" drawing.
I recently realized that we see very little of Shaggy & Fred interacting and being pals in any of the Scooby canons. So I did these quick sketches to figure out what they do when the girls are gone:
( Silly doodles under the cut....... )
Anyhoo, this got me wanting to draw more buddy pics of Shaggy and Fred. But I have no clue what they would do together without the girls around (and I really want to believe that they have a friendship that's deeper than "we're friends because of the girls"). Any suggestions? I'd love to get some artistic inspiration and/or discussions out of this. :)

Thankfully, things got better after Red Herring moved away. ~_^
And here's an extra doodle just because:

Everyone has probably seen this video already. But I think it's worth posting anyway because this man has done something miraculous. He has brought the pro and anti Chick-Fil-A folks together to agree on one thing:
THIS GUY IS THE BIGGEST DOUCHE IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!

How to let a guy down easy
Dec. 2nd, 2010 04:40 pmI was taking my 10 minute break at work today when a guy sat down at my booth and started flirting with me. First thing he asks: "How old are you?". I replied that he ought to know that its extremely rude to ask a woman's age. And he told me I looked young and he wanted to make sure I wasn't underage! O_o
...yup. I got asked out by a stranger today. That hasn't happened in a while.

Worst/Weirdest pick up line EVER!!
Sep. 21st, 2010 04:42 pmThis actually happened to me at work once. Seriously, what is it with douchey frat boy types and horrible, offensive pick up lines?

I guess this dude had some sort of LDS fetish (or, at the very least, some very odd stereotypes about what LDS girls "look" like and/or how they behave). And he seemed to think saying "you look innocent" to a girl is a compliment. News flash to any boys reading this: if you say "you look innocent" to a girl in the wrong setting and/or tone of voice, you'll come across as very, VERY creepy. Do yourself and female kind a favor and just retire that line from your pick up line vocabulary if you haven't already.
On the bright side, not all the boys in that douchey frat boy group were loathsome jerks. One of them came up to me privately later on to apologize for the behavior of his friend. I thanked him, but told him that his buddy really ought to grow a pair of balls (and a sense of chivalry) and apologize to me himself. He never did. Oy vey.
