A little holiday inspiration is always fun! So toss me ideas of Halloween-themed doodles you'd like to see! I can't promise they'll all get done by Halloween. But I'll do my best to get them all drawn eventually! :)

Holy crap, that's PERFECT!!!! Excuse me while I gush all over you....

--I LOVE the idea of Rebecca and Carmelita being old friends from school (probably high school or college?). It really fits them.

--Molly dragging Kit to the office to show him "Danger Woman" is so cute. I don't remember if Talespin ever showed/described what Danger Woman looked like, but I can imagine Carmelita fitting the bill.

--Since Penelope and Wildcat are buddies in this AU, I imagine her having conflicting feelings about stealing that cane from Higher-4-Hire. And I get the impression that, in your story (which, again, is AWESOME) Wildcat doesn't know that Penelope is a part of the Cooper Gang.

--I LOVED how you had Molly peg Penelope as a girl at first glance. Talespin made Molly out to be very perceptive about people. So it makes sense for her to notice something like that.



....now I'm consumed with the desire to make this into a comic or a storybook type thing. If I ever do it and get it on DA, I promise to credit you!!!

And yeah, I can totally see Carmelita and Becca being old High School buddies and I just couldn't resist Molly being the one to clue in that Penelope was actually a girl. ^_^

This is what I did at work today. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence, but while I was drawing these my sales numbers were AWESOME!

Next up, some random brainstorming about what Bentley's wheelchair would be like in the Talespin AU (and the different way his romance with Penelope would play out if she joined the gang before Neyla entered the picture). And a cute picture of Molly and "Danger Woman"

Sure, that's fine go ahead. Playing around with AU are really fun.

Also, I can see a later scene of Molly sneaking along with Sly's group, trying to help "Danger Woman" and Sly tries to convince her he's a good guy by saying he loves "Danger Woman." I can see Becca going Momma Bear on him later.

Here are some random brainstorms for Penelope's look and Bentley's wheelchair



I can see her losing the "Phineas" disguise after being with Sly's gang for a while and choosing to grow her hair out later on. I just imagine that she hates living a lie and hiding under baggy clothing 24/7 just to get by without harassment. And I also think that having a team of awesome pals to back her up gives her the courage to pursue piloting openly (and perhaps assisting groups like the Daughters of Aviation).

Yeah, I REALLY dig the idea of these two being extremely dorky teenagers (and Carmelita helping Rebecca with her cold feet on her wedding day). XD

Another thing I liked about your take was Kit's intuition about Penelope being somewhat shady (even though he sympathizes with her plight). This touch is very in-character for him.
