No. This isn't a deranged piece of fanart. I found this story in an actual Scooby Doo comic published in 1975. The Scooby kids fought NAZI ghosts. This is canon. And I just had to share the insanity with all of you.

Here's a preview to give ya an idea of what you're in for:

The rest of this glorious piece of (most likely) drug-fueled 70s goodness is located under the cut.....

Here's the cover for this book. It features a Dinosaur Skeleton Monster even though none of the mysteries in this book have anything to do with a Dinosaur Skeleton Monster. So I totally did not see the NAZIs coming the first time I picked this thing up!!

On to the story...

I LOVE Scooby's expression on this last panel! It matches the one I had the first time I read this comic! XD

It was kinda odd to see Daphne acting like Velma in this story (i.e. making all the sarcastic quips and summing up the solution to the mystery). Either the writer of this story forgot which girl was "the smart one" or this version of Daphne was the prototype for the kick-ass little "Princess of Snark Daphne" we got in A Pup Named Scooby Doo.

And just for fun, here are all the vintage ads from the comic:
