5 songs brought to you by the letter "B"
Oct. 26th, 2010 07:23 pmI got the letter "B" from DQ_Bunny. And gosh darnit, B is a hard letter to work with. :P
Batman TAS theme
How could I not pick this one? Everything about it is badass and it's attached to the show that started my love affair with superheros and comic books!
----
Batman Beyond theme
This song never fails to get me pumped up and itching to punch something evil (or play air guitar)
----
Breaking up is hard to do
Neil Sedaka originally wrote and sang this song. But I really love The Carpenter's cover of it; so that's the one I'm using here.
---
'Brainstorm' by Beck (the anime, not the British dude)
This is one of those animes were the dub is a MASSIVE improvement over the original Japanese and the songs are the major reason why. Funimation did an amazing job casting Beck and Greg Ayers and Justin Cook (the guy singing this song) absolutely ROCKED!
---
'Beat This' by Jem and the Holograms
This song is cheesy as hell. But I love the beat of it. And it's fun to hear Jem sing a song about kicking ass instead of yet another soliloquy about her messed up interpretation of romance
