Bruce Wayne and Andrea Beaumont: Batman - Mask of the Phantasm
Phantasm is, in my opinion, the best Batman movie ever made. It has everything: romance, drama, kick ass action, suspense, a great mystery, and Kevin Conroy & Mark Hamill.
The ending always chokes me up. Andrea and Bruce could have had a happy life together. Bruce desperately wanted an excuse to give up being Batman and start a normal, happy family like he had before his parents died (the scene where he's at his parents' grave begging for a sign that it's OK for him to give up Batman for Andrea is extremely powerful). But it all fell apart simply because they couldn’t agree on the correct way to channel their grief and anger. I’d go on, but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. Even if you're not a Batman fan, please check it out if you haven't seen it. You wont be disappointed (but you might cry for a while).
