I saw the Lego Movie over the weekend. It was AWESOME! If you haven't seen it yet, go NOW!

Seriously, the Lego Movie version of Batman is one of my new favorite incarnations. He was such a colossal d-bag and I LOVED it!

True story, I liked Lego Movie more than Frozen. HORRORS AND GASP! I'm in dire need of the DVD so I can watch it whenever I want, as going to the theatre will get expensive fast. Also, I'm collecting some of the minifigs, too. Addicted? YES.

Don't worry. You're not the only one who thinks the Lego Movie is better than Frozen. Frozen was a cute popcorn/sister-bonding flick. But all the gaping plotholes in the film (and the MASSIVE hype it's received) has soured me on it a bit. But that's a rant for another day....

I can't wait until we get an announcement for "Lego Movie 2: Attack of the Duplos". XD

WAY too overhyped. Don't get me wrong, Frozen is pretty good, but it's not THE MOST BESTEST DISNEY MOVIE EVER!!1!1!! like people seem to think it is. And it's definitely not better than Tangled. I'm always in the mood for Tangled. Frozen, not so much. To its credit, Frozen brought back memories of growing up with my sisters, and how much fun it is having siblings…and not fun, but…eh. I do own it, I will watch it, but it's not the best Disney has made. I'm still not sure how I feel about the music…

(I will give Disney credit for making what seemed to be a really annoying sidekick character in previews one of my favorite parts of the movie. Olaf's childlike innocence was great, and he's one of my favorite aspects of the movie. The other…would be Sven. And then Marshmallow. What, there are other characters, too?) ;)

Ha! A sequel to the Lego Movie has already been announced! I don't think they're expecting to release anything until 2017 though. The torture!

I saw Frozen the other day and OH MAN. On top of Let It Go being the WORST EARWORM EVER, I just found myself eye-rolling and facepalming way way too much at all the awkward word-stumbling. I got nothing out of the sisterly bonding because my siblings and I were at each other's throats growing up due to forced isolation/perma-cabin fever. I don't know. Maybe I'm just jaded.

It doesn't help that the high-notes in all the singing kept setting off the dogs. -_-;

(on the flipside it DID finally get my PS3 moved downstairs so I can play my video games again.)

The Lego Movie was pretty amazing! I loved the humor and the cameos. Plus, what's not to like about 1980's astronaut guy?
