Who knew a job that chains me to a desk could be so inspiring!

First up, a scene from one of the most epic (and tear-jerky) bromances of all time.

I'm just gonna pretend that the-game-that-shall-not-be-named didn't turn one of them into an asshole who beats his girlfriend. :(

Here is my attempt to illustrate one of the strangest boss fights in video game history

One of the best "creepy villains" EVER:

Shipping!

Gal pal cuteness!

Random scenes

YAY friendship and cooperation!

GENDER BENDING

=====

Now have some Slayers!

Speaking of The Contessa, how did you do when the game forced you to play the first part of the level with just Bentley?

Not to bad actually, but granted Stu and I had each other to bounces. So, one of us, but can't remember who, pointed out to use the train tracks.

when I replayed the game recently, I noticed that Sly tried to talk The Contessa out of fighting him by telling her, "Just hand it over. You KNOW you can't beat me in a fight!"
I twigged to that too. I'm with/like the theory that Sly likes being a gentleman to women even if they are out to kill him. It fits the idea of him being a sort of Arsene Lupin. (And from what I've seen of the Sly 4 clips, this might just be me, but it looks like they kind of change Sly's personality a bit along with Penelope and Carmelita's @_@)

the paraglider missions are a bit...frustrating.
Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed it, the only frustrating part was when I was trying to land on the train. With that said, Stu and I were laughing our heads off when we had to pickpocket Carmelita. "Run! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! SHE'S COMPETENT!"

Speaking of Canada, does your country look like that in real life? Or do you have other things besides snow, sawmills, trains, and Lumberjack clubs? ~_^

LOL, to be fair, I can't speak for the Yukon which is probably where Jean Bison is set up, but for the Maritimes. We have A LOT more trees and water/ocean around. We do have loggers in New Brunswick, but sadly not as many trains. XP

Speaking of that...
I don't know if you ever tried to smack Neyla during the first two 'follow Neyla' missions. But the game punishes you if you try it by flashing a "game over" message that reads, "MISSION FAILED! Neyla doesn't like getting hit anymore than YOU do!".
It's like the game is shaming the player for being a jerk! I discovered it on my second playthrough and thought it was hilarious! XD

Oh, they totally did. Sly, Murray, and Bentley's dialogue/behavior is way more "cartoony" in Sly 4. And it's not the GOOD kind of cartoony, either. It's the lame, pandering kind you'd see in a badly-written kids show.

Basically, Sanzaru-Sly loses all his smoothness and charm. He's no longer a suave thief. He's a smarmy douche. And, instead of being a chivalrous dude who hesitates to beat up women (even after said women have seriously wronged him), he allows other guys to sexually degrade his girlfriend AGAINST HER F**KING WILL and doesn't even hesitate to beat the shit out of a girl that he once cared about.
....so, yeah. They changed it. They changed it a lot. >_<

"Run! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! SHE'S COMPETENT!"

LOL. Just wait until you get to play as her in Sly 3! It's like controlling a superhero!
