*sigh*

I had just about gotten over my fangirl rage at the-show-that-shall-not-be-named for character-assassinating beloved cartoon icons and sinking one of my favorite ships (mainly because Cartoon Network rightfully treated that show like crap). So, wouldn't you know it, another reboot had to come along and slap my inner child AND my inner feminist across the face with bad writing and sexism.

Parodying the classic "Dallas Shower Ret-con" helped me cope with watching Velma Dinkley get screwed by a bad reboot (see her comic here). So I used it again to help me deal with watching another awesome nerd couple get ruthlessly shot with their own canon.

I should have known that Sly 4 would suck when I got my first look at their rebooted version of Carmelita (the badass cop from the original trilogy)....

But I was trusting and stupid and gave it a shot anyway. And now I'm forced to deal with my trauma by writing essays about sexism in games and spamming Deviant Art with parody comics that piss off butt hurt fanboys who don't understand why female gamers are so goddam pissed off about seeing this s**t all the f**king time!!!!!

Please forgive my ranting. I just....can't believe this happened again. :(
