Date: 2013-01-21 08:27 am (UTC)I got a free copy of one of the 80s Teen Titans books because of a promotion at a new comic shop in town (it was from the Raven/Trigon arc). The characterizations were really good and all the characters were likable. And Starfire made sure to tell all her teammates that she loved them before going into a battle where the odds weren't in her favor.
Reading that book and seeing how much Starfire valued her teammates/friends just makes me rage at 52-Starfire (who can't even remember her friends' freakin' NAMES and lets douchebags use her as a blow-up doll) even more.
