Date: 2012-12-12 08:06 pm (UTC)1) Scooby won't eat clams: This was canon is the original series (one episode shows him gagging when offered some). But it was ignored in subsequent shows because this franchise isn't big on continuity.
2) Cat food: Dog treats are one thing. But cat food is where they both draw the LINE!! XD
3) All of the terrifying foods on this list.
4) All of the sadistic "delicacies" on this list (I'm sure Shaggy draws the line on food that is made of pure animal cruelty)
5) School Cafeteria food. Because even their stomachs can only take so much abuse

2) The FiM ponies. Mainly because I love the mythology and the world that was built around them. As much as I love the original 80s stuff; it's nice to have an MLP series that at least TRIES to make a world populated by magic technicolor horses make sense.
3) The Disney Afternoon anthro-creatures.
I'm not sure if this is cheating. But I just ADORE the world built around these characters (mainly, the gorgeous setting that was featured in Talespin) and I'd feel wrong not including it.
4) Totoro. Because who doesn't love Totoro?
5) Appa. All the avatar composite animals are awesome. But Appa is in a class all by himself.

2) The Smooze from the 80s. Because the song, that's why.
3) Applejack leaving home in The Last Roundup.
Not an "adventure" per se. But it struck a personal chord with me because I've been in that situation before. And it still kills me that one of AJ's pivotal character defining moments was overshadowed by all the 'Derpy Gate' nonsense. XP
4) Rarity in 'Suited For Success'.
Again, I know this isn't technically an "adventure". But I'm picking this because I've been there and could relate to Rarity dealing with demands from friends who didn't understand how her art works.
And I loved how it firmly established that Rarity is an ARTIST and not just some twit who blindly follows fashion trends because she wants to be popular.
5) A Dog And Pony Show
I just love how this "rescue the girly girl character" plot managed to subvert a ton of cliches and stereotypes without being ham-fisted or preachy about it. And seeing Rarity using her "feminine wiles" to get out of a situation where she was clearly outmatched by a group of physically intimidating male monsters cemented her as my favorite pony.
