This will either be really amazing or really horrible depending on how much the writer(s) knows about cons and nerd culture. But I'm gonna opt to be optimistic because the last movie (Big Top Scooby Doo) kicked so much ass!

Here's hoping this movie uses the classic, campy version of Blue Falcon instead of "The Goddam Blue Falcon" version we got in the-show-that-shall-not-be-named (the BF voice in the trailer sounded similar to Gary Owens; so I think it's a safe bet we'll be seeing the former!) ^_^

Well, most writers prove they don't know shit about about nerd culture, nor do they care to learn, yet they continue to write convention episodes. Athough, Psych's was pretty good. Probably the best one I've seen. Let's hope this one is pretty good.

True. The writers behind the-show-that-shall-not-be-named described their awful reboot of Velma as a "Comic Con Girl". Even though their version of Velma was never shown reading a comic, playing a video game, going to a con, or doing anything remotely "nerdy" aside from reading a Harlan Ellison book one time.
Apparently, their vision of a "Comic Con Girl" is a mean-spirited dingbat who seeks out toxic and/or abusive relationships.

These recent DTV movies have been hit-or-miss (ranging from "meh" to "OMG!AMAZING"). And I'll feel better when I find out who the writer behind this movie is.
