I just found out that my personal hero, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, has released another book! HOORAY!

I'm just bummed that I'll have to wait a month to buy it because I've already committed my entire May and June fun-money budget toward Slayers Evolution-R. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and manage to get it from the public library (I plan to eventually purchase the book regardless. She needs all the royalty money she can get to pay her private security force!). I'll be REALLY happy if the library has Nomad in Audiobook format. I have the Audiobook version of Infidel and Hirsi Ali's voice and Somali accent are just hypnotically beautiful (which makes the chapters describing gruesome things all the more haunting).

For anyone interested in seeing this badass in action, here are some choice speeches and interviews...

"Call things by their name":

This interview has a fantastic money quote; "You grew up in freedom, so you can spit on freedom. I don't have that luxury":

This interview is my favorite. Mainly because I can't believe the rich, white talk show host had the chutzpah to lecture Hirsi Ali (a Black woman with a MUSLIM NAME!) about how much it sucks for minorities at the airport as if he knows better than her. And his bigoted, ignorant stereotypes about the USA are so ridiculously cartoonish and silly I can't really bring myself to be offended by them. XD

And finally: Submission. The film that made her and Theo Van Gogh targets (sadly, Van Gogh was killed shortly after the films release):
