Day 15 - The best lesson Twilight has learned?

I think the lesson about faith vs intellect from "Feeling Pinkie Keen" was the best. It's a subject you rarely see tackled on TV, let alone on a children's show. And I think the show did a great job with it.



Day 16 - Best and worst trait of Rarity?

Best and worst trait: She's funny as hell without even trying.
Aside from that, her best traits are her confidence and her work ethic. A person (or pony) has to be REALLY driven to run a business all alone and she makes it look effortless. She doesn't just make pretty clothes, she markets the clothes, she networks, she schmoozes, and she researches design trends. She doesn't just want the finer things in life and expect them to be handed to her just because she's pretty. She works her ass off for them.
And despite her busy schedule, she still finds time to help her friends and family with their problems.

As for her worst trait...she can be a total snob and kinda bitchy toward ponies that don't measure up to her high standards. For instance, if she and Applejack didn't have 4 mutual friends between them and hadn't gone on a life changing adventure together, Rarity most likely would never have given her the time of day.



Day 17 - Favourite Rarity scene?
Definitely the scene where she crushes the glass slipper to keep Prince Blueblood from tracking her down! I swear, I laughed like crazy the first time I saw that.

The runners up are the scene where she flat out refuses to babysit for the Cakes (the way the actress delivered it was awesome) and the scene where Spike tries to tell her about his crush and she finds the perfect way to let him down easy (while falling to her death, no less!).



Day 18 - Best and worst trait of Rainbow Dash?
Not gonna lie, Rainbow Dash is my least favorite among the Mane 6 and the one pony I would not want to be BFFs with if I were somehow magically transported to Ponyville. I've known people like her in real life and, even though they're generally nice and fun in small doses, they're a pain in the ass when you have to interact with them all the time. The way she turns everything into a contest and never learns to tone down her ego no matter how often it bites her in the butt just bugs me. I'm not saying she's a badly written character (on the contrary, the writers actually do a good job nailing that personality type), she just rubs me the wrong way.

As for her positive traits...she's to the point and doesn't pussyfoot around. So she's good to have around when you need to tell someone to just man up and get sh*t done. And she will be there to defend your honor if some douchey boys try to besmirch it.


Day 19 - Favourite Rainbow Dash scene?
When she defended Fluttershy's honor in The Cutie Mark Cronicles flashback. This was a really sweet scene and it makes me hope that we get to see more of what the Mane 6's lives were like before Twilight came to Ponyville. Mainly, I'd like to know if Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were always friends or if they lost touch and just re-connected when Twilight dragged them on that first mission.

Agreement on Rainbow. I,m also wondering if her and Fluttershy were friends before Twilight came along, or just out of touch. She seems to live in cloudsdale rather then ponyville. She just looks like she hangs in ponyville for fun.

The slipper thing with Rarity is forever my favorite too.
