I'm putting these here because these video reviews are VERY well done (especially considering they're partially narrated by a young child!), genuinely entertaining, really cute, and accurate. I figured you guys would get a kick out of them because it's neat to see a review from the perspectives of a father and son who played the game together.

'Scooby Doo: First Frights' review

I actually own this game. So I can say that this review is pretty dead on. If you find a copy of this game on sale in a bargain bin like I did, it's definitely worth your time. It's very simple and a bit repetitive, but it's a fun way to kill a weekend.

'Scooby Doo and the Spooky Swamp' review

I LOVED the Simon skit that the dad and the kid did for the video. That was very clever.
I never played this game, and I was disappointed to learn that it's a step down from the last game. If even a little kid could spot the inaccuracies and plotholes, that's not a good sign. :P

I haven't watched these (I was gone all evening, and now the news is on), but I do prefer game reviews from the age group the game was intended for. Kids are going to look for more than just graphics when wanting to play an enjoyable game, thank goodness.

(But, I Had no idea there were Scooby Doo games... I should have assumed, but I've never noticed them on store shelves! It's always something like Dora the Explorer or Spongebob in the bargain bins! ...maybe that's a compliment?)

You should check them out when you get the chance. If only to see the kid in action. Even if his dad wrote the script, the kid is really good at delivering the review.

There are a ton of Scooby games out there. But I never bought one before now because games based on licensed TV shows and movies tend to suck. But First Frights was decent (it was certainly worth the $10 I paid for it)
