I'm putting these here because these video reviews are VERY well done (especially considering they're partially narrated by a young child!), genuinely entertaining, really cute, and accurate. I figured you guys would get a kick out of them because it's neat to see a review from the perspectives of a father and son who played the game together.
'Scooby Doo: First Frights' review
I actually own this game. So I can say that this review is pretty dead on. If you find a copy of this game on sale in a bargain bin like I did, it's definitely worth your time. It's very simple and a bit repetitive, but it's a fun way to kill a weekend.
'Scooby Doo and the Spooky Swamp' review
I LOVED the Simon skit that the dad and the kid did for the video. That was very clever.
I never played this game, and I was disappointed to learn that it's a step down from the last game. If even a little kid could spot the inaccuracies and plotholes, that's not a good sign. :P

Date: 2011-09-20 06:19 am (UTC)(But, I Had no idea there were Scooby Doo games... I should have assumed, but I've never noticed them on store shelves! It's always something like Dora the Explorer or Spongebob in the bargain bins! ...maybe that's a compliment?)

Date: 2011-09-21 01:38 am (UTC)There are a ton of Scooby games out there. But I never bought one before now because games based on licensed TV shows and movies tend to suck. But First Frights was decent (it was certainly worth the $10 I paid for it)
