Slayers



Gourry Gabriev: Basically, he's the perfect guy. Loyal, smoking hot, strong, and super sweet. Yeah, the stupidity is a bit of a turn off; but that's negligible because....well, look at him.
And I love all the hidden depth he exhibits at various points in both the anime and the novels (OK, at least I have one reason that isn't totally shallow)




Friendship with Magic



I have only watched about 5 episodes (and dozens of "best of" YouTube clips), but so far I like Rarity the best. Mainly because she makes me laugh the most.




Avatar: The Last Airbender



It's REALLY hard to choose a favorite with this show because it has a huge cast of characters who are all awesome in different ways. But if I had to pick one, it would be Iroh. There were a lot of layers to him and, when the show ended, I was sad that we didn't get to see more of his background (like what his life/personality was like before his son died, what his wife was like, etc).
Also, his unconditional love for Zuko was one of the sweetest aspects of the show (who didn't choke up during Zuko's apology to him in the finale?)





Jem and the Holograms

Part of me wants to say Jerrica because she was a rare breed of realistically positive female leading ladies (a powerful businesswoman); but, sadly, that chick was nuts and her alter ego got all the glory anyway. So I'm going with Stormer!



Stormer was a fun character. She was mostly sweet. But every once in a while, she'd exhibit some bitchy behavior that would make you say "ooh, that's why she fits in with the Misfits!". And part of me wishes that she had defected to the Holograms (if only for a while) after the events in "The Bands Break Up" just to see how she'd react in a group full of people who are nicer than she is.
And I subscribe to the fanon theory that she was a closeted lesbian (the theory makes sense even if you ignore the episode where she teams up with Kimber!).

Also, I just have a thing for her voice. Out of all the main characters in the show, she totally had the sexiest speaking voice (too bad another actress did the singing voice). ~_^

*evil grin* I just love to spread the memes around. XD

I think Stormer would be my favourite too, looking back she was probably one of the more complex characters. Plus, there was that side plot of Stormer's brother which I was surprised to learn was resolved in a later episode.

Also, it's only fair. "It's over 9000!"

Even though I liked Raya, I think it would have been cool if Stormer's brother had made it into the Holograms instead. The fact that he didn't make it in (and was only seen in one episode afterward) made the whole "secret sibling" melodrama kinda pointless.

Slayers

Zelgadis, I'm not sure why I like him so much. Maybe it's because it's fun torment him in fanfics. Plus, you got to love his interaction with both Amelia and Lina.

Scooby Doo

I'll admit, as a kid, Scooby was always my favorite. I blame the fact that I was always drawn to the dog characters.

Girl Genius

Agatha, I don't know which I love more. The fact that she's a genius or the fact that she can kick butt when she wants to. She's probably the one that could knock the most sense into Mystery Incorporated Velma and Daphne (after Lina of course.)


The Muppets

This is a hard choice, but if I had to choose it would probably be Kermit. I love how he can be the calm and sane leader but very sarcastic in the original Muppet show.
