Another art/photoshop question...

Just wondering if anyone here knows if Photoshop can be used to make watermarks. And, if so, how do I go about making one and putting it in my drawings?
Thanks again, guys!

It can place an image too, as I recall + add text, resize and rename in bulk operations. It's my go-to program for generating small, watermarked collections of my art for online galleries. (And it's free, of course, 'cuz I'm a cheapskate.)
The main thing I recall from watermarking is the key of layer transparency- put the info you want (text/url/image watermark) on a separate layer on top of the image, and then adjust the transparency so that it barely shows.
