This is a submission I did for a contest in the [livejournal.com profile] dinkley_rogers  comm.

Scooby has discovered the biggest advantage to his two best pals being sweet on each other...

...they're extremely easy to distract now. ~_^

*laughs* And this is why we can't believe the Mystery Incorporated version. This is how Scooby would take advantage. (By the way, I just wanted to say that your drawing skills have really improved since the first comic you posted. ^_^ Keep up the good work!)

Yeah. The long hiatus has made me realize that all the cool things Mystery Incorporated has going for it (like the atmosphere and the big story arc) just doesn't make up for the massive character assassination that poor Scooby and Velma went through. It sucks that the writers didn't have the skill to write an intelligent teenage girl in the context of a romance. :(

Thanks for the compliment! Switching to blue pencils was the trick. Those things make it way easier to get drawings done (especially long comics) and make them look good because I don't have to spend half my time erasing mistakes.

Poor characters. I would have found it more funny if Scooby was pretending to be angry about the shipping, so he could be pampered, and then Shaggy realizes it and they go back to being a super-awesome trio!

Blue pencils rock? Amiright? They helped me get a lot better too. The sketches always seem better when you draw them directly and ink on top instead of re-copying them 10 times...
