Good Lord, my inner child is giddy right now! Boom Comics is officially my favorite publisher. If they do a Talespin comic and it looks even half as good as this Rescue Rangers book, I will totally die and go to nostalgia heaven!

Here's the preview of the first 4 pages of the book (and click here to see all the nifty variant covers for it!)

That last splash page...like, whoa!
This company is eating most of my disposable income budget right now and I couldn't be happier about it! ^_^

I wish I had disposable income! Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers was always my favorite of the cartoons, and this looks extremely promising!

Also, because you'll enjoy this, and because I saw the mouse cultist in the background and was reminded, at game a few nights ago, the DM started singing the CuCu Cola song. I had to laugh! Just goes to show that a catchy song can stay stuck in your head decades after hearing it. ^_-

There's always trade paperbacks, right? And, if you want, I could write summaries or try to scan the best scenes in the books or something.

Speaking of the Cucu Cola guy...at first I thought it was odd that he was drawn bigger than Fat Cat in the splash page because he was just a one-shot villain and Fat Cat was their arch nemesis. But it makes sense if this particular issue is focused on Gadget (and the flashback implies that it is).

If Boom! can finally get me interested in Darkwing Duck, maybe they can get me interested in Chip & Dale. Granted, not hearing the voices will help out a lot (I always didn't care for the voices for Chip and Dale) and so would a heavy focus on Gadget, who was always my favorite.

Still ... Talespin comic, please!

Holy- We got to see Gadget's dad again?! We haven't seen him mentioned again since the pilot episode. I am so grabbing this when I can. ^_^

Please, PLEASE, let there be a Tale Spin comic next. XD

The pilot implied that Monty and Gadget's dad had some amazing adventures. It would be cool to see some flashbacks of them.

I'm also crossing my fingers for a Talespin comic. Hopefully, all the legal issues revolving around the King Louie character won't apply to a Talespin comic book. :P
