brendala: (Velma shocked)

Somebody HAD to do this crossover sooner or later!

The gang entering town in some spiffy new duds (aka outfits stolen from the Silent Hill characters Heather, James, Harry, and Maria)! I wanted to color this and add in the spooky fog, but I couldn't finish the colors before Halloween. So you'll have to use your imagination. ^_^;

And the true identity of Mr. E is....

Scooby Doo! Get it? Scooby. Scoob-E? huh? **nudge nudge**
...that's right. Fred Jones isn't the only one who can rock a horribly lame pun! XD

For those of you who aren't familiar with the Silent Hill games, the above picture is a reference to the bizarre "dog ending" from Silent Hill 2. Observe:

And, here's an extra picture of the Mystery Incorporated girls having a little light-hearted Halloween fun:

Speaking of Angel Dynamite, where the hell has she been lately? She disappeared from the show right around the time all the romantic sh*t hit the fan.
...I like to think she walked off the set in protest of all the ridiculous melodrama and the way Velma's character turned out. XD

Okay Scooby-Hill is a pretty fantastic idea... Why didn't anyone thing of it earlier? (And who doesn't love the dog ending?)

I know! I can't believe I'm the first one to do it (at least I think I am). A Scooby parody of the dog ending seemed like a no-brainer to me (especially in the context of the current Scooby series).

Speaking of the current series...it recently featured an episode where the gang teams up with Harlan Ellison to fight Cthulu (I'M NOT MAKING THAT UP). So it wouldn't surprise me if they did a Silent Hill themed episode in the future.

Okay that's pretty cool, my only qualm is that usually fighting an Elder God doesn't end well, typically the squishy (And often far too curious for their own good.) people are either horribly killed or just driven to blissful insanity. If you ever get a chance check out the film Into the Mouth of Madness, the effects are a bit dated but it's one of the best Lovecraft inspired movies out there. If you're into that sort of thing. ^_^
