There's a Power Rangers convention going on in Pasadena at the end of this month. I have absolutely no interest in Power Rangers at all (I haven't seen a full episode since I was about 11-years-old). But I've thought about going simply because Linkara will be there and I freakin' LOVE his comic book reviews on That Guy With The Glasses! And I would be on cloud nine if I could give him my copy of this hilariously terrible bargain bin comic I have and he went on to review it.

...does this make me a creepy fangirl? Please tell me it doesn't! -_-


P.S. In case you're wondering, the book in question is called "The Truth" and it's a Dark Horse title by a guy named Jimmy Smith. Believe it or not, I can't find any information about it on Google! However, in the highly likely event I don't end up going to this con, I might just try to review it myself. And trust me, it's a hilarious whirlwind of suck and what-the-fu*kery!

As much as I adore Linkara and want him to see my comic, I don't know if it'll be worth it to go to a con celebrating something I have zero interest in just to do it. Sadly, I'm not exactly swimming in a bin full of disposable income right now. So going to a con just for the possibility of meeting one guy seems like a terribly extravagant thing to do.

I'm 99% positive that "The Truth" is so bad he'll take it in a heartbeat. This comic even came with a CD full of crappy music! It's unbelievable!


Wait? A Sabrina/Sonic crossover comic!? I know both titles were produced by Archie Comics but still...holy crap! If Linkara doesn't take it, you HAVE to make scans! LOL

I had heard he gotten gifts and donations from fans so I had emailed him asking how he normally accepts. (And I'm geeky enough that I've kept his email from then. I had at least tempted him and apparently the first person to inform him there was a sequel made to Rapunzel's Revenge. ^_^)

I should scan it, it's pretty ridiculous. Hey, I could do my own comic review. XD
