I was driving to my grandmother's house in Canoga Park two days ago. On my way there I passed this sign and just about freaked out!! Luckily, there was a red light, so I had a chance to whip out my camera and snap a photo.

See the plane on the sign? The photo didn't turn out very well since I only had seconds to take it (I tweeked it in photo editor before I posted it here); but trust me, it totally looks like the Sea Duck from Talespin.

I wish I could remember exactly where I took the picture so I could try to get a better shot next time I see grandma. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky when I visit her again next week. ^_^

Date: 2010-03-13 04:30 am (UTC)As much as I love the Ducktales and Goofy movies, I wish Talespin had gotten a film instead. The animation of the planes and the characters looked so good in the episodes and would have been AMAZING on the big screen.
I loved Talespin when I was little. But I never appreciated how well made it was until I saw it as an adult. The characters have a lot of depth and the setting feels like an old Hayao Miyazaki movie.
