Slayers Revolution subs...

Dear Funimation,

It's AWESOME that you're providing us Slayers fans with legit subs while we wait for the DVDs. But would it kill ya to fix the video player on your site? I've been trying to watch episodes 8-12 for a week, but the darned player is always "undergoing maintenance"! I want to resist the fansubs.  So please fix it before the DVDs go on sale and/or I give in to temptation!

P.S. I've tried watching it on two different computers. So I know it's not a problem on my end.

Were the computers on the same ISP? I cannot watch the episodes at all, unless I steal the neighboring apartment's wi-fi, but it loaded so slowly that I gave up after the first episode. Anyway, it was mentioned on their forums that there are issues with some ISPs, so it could very well be that.

I'm ready for the DVDs myself. Waiting for the episode to load is just too much time!

The computers are in the same house and on the same wireless network, so I assume it's the same ISP.

The weird thing is that the first 7 episodes worked just fine on my laptop. The load times weren't that bad either. But all of a sudden, it's just not working for me anymore. It's frustrating because I was just getting to the exciting episodes. :(

Huh. I just tried the last episode (13) and it played fine for me despite the message.

I checked the Funi site after reading your comment and now it's working for me, too! I guess whatever problems their video site had when I posted this rant are fixed now.

...I better watch the rest of Revolution before the website hiccups again! ^_^

I'm cherry-picking episodes. Just watched episode 7 and now am watching episode 10 (one of my favorite episodes ever).
