I like to think that this comic also counts toward the "Velma Dinkley Appreciation Day" idea that DQ Bunny recently proposed:

I loved this movie. But the fan-service scene in the middle was so random and jarring that it took me out of the film for a few minutes. I had to pause the DVD because I was laughing so hard! And I swear, the bucket of water gag wasn't my idea; Shaggy really does (platonically?) chase her with one at some point in the "musical fan-service montage"!
It's quite clear that the folks who storyboarded and/or animated this thing have the major hots for Velma. Don't believe me? Check out these screen shots (I just wish I could track down video of the scene because the song that plays during the fan-service montage kicks ass):
