After the past few weeks of unsuccessful job interviews and the crushing realization that going to nursing school means getting saddled with huge student loan debts; I've decided that the best way out of my funk is some art therapy! Hooray!

This picture was semi-inspired by a recent Secondlina post. I call it, "Lina and Gourry star in Final Fantasy X-3!"

Maybe he already bought out the Japanese belt shops and is slowly working his way over here. XD

One of my friends dressed up as Lulu for Halloween back in high school. That's right, she actually wore the costume to school! She looked FANTASTIC; but it was so hard for the poor girl to move around. >_<

Thankfully he didn't go LOL BELTS AND ZIPPERS with the Dissidia character designs. Granted, he was pretty much redrawing everyone based on the original Amano sketches but at least he didn't try to do something boneheaded like... try to put a zipper on Cecil.

...though, if he DID do that, it would only confirm that Cecil is, in fact, BATMAN. XD

It ought to be decreed that any artist creating characters for a new series/video game has to first WEAR the outfit they're designing to save future cosplayers a lot of grief. Plus, the excess of belts and zippers look just plain ridiculous!

It's so wrong seeing Lina and Gourry with so many belts and zippers. I love how you've pretty much bound and gagged them with the awful things!

Totally. I know JRPG outfits aren't meant to be practical; but they should at least look good. And random belts, zippers, and buckles don't look cool at all. Plus, like you said, its hard on the poor cos-players.

It was especially distracting to see characters like Donald and Goofy dress like that Kingdom Hearts 2. Donald's 70% zipper outfit was just insane! There were zippers and belts on his HAT for goodness sake!
