Big Top Scooby Doo's official release date is October 9th. However, Wal-Mart stores currently have it on their shelves for way less than it's suggested retail price. I got it last night (and it only cost me $12).
I already reviewed this movie back when Amazon streamed it. So I'll just say that I HIGHLY recommend getting a copy next time you're near a Wal-Mart. Big Top's quality makes up for the fact that the DVD is pretty weak when it comes to extras....
FEATURES:
This film has dubs in French, Spanish, Portugese, and Thai. Apparently, there's a high demand in the Thai-American community for their own Scooby dubs on the North American DVDs. Who knew? :P
EXTRAS:
Sadly, this DVD basically bare bones when it comes to extras.
-There's a trailer for the next full length movie "Mask of the Blue Falcon" (and it looks pretty awesome!). There are also trailers for various other Scooby Doo and Warner Brothers movies.
-It crammed 3 circus-themed episodes from various other Scooby Doo shows onto the disc because.....yay circus?
The first was the classic "Bedlam in the Big Top" from Scooby Doo: Where Are You.
The second was "The Ghouliest Show on Earth" from The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. I had almost forgotten how intensely weird that show was until I watched this (two background characters in this episode are a farmer and a sentient cow that appear to be married or something O_O).
The third was "Menace of the Manticore" from Mystery Incorporated. The one that introduced us toVelma's love interest Hot Dog Water.
