The 'V' remake is AWESOME!!

brendalaI caught the remake of 'V' (that old alien sci-fi series from the 1980s) on Monday and it kicked major butt! I know remakes usually suck, but this one is totally worth checking out!
I especially liked the Priest character. Partially because he was played by Joel Gretsch from The 4400 (another kickass sci-fi show that was tragically canned due to the writers' strike). His concern that humanity's gratitude toward the V (short for "Visitors") was turning into blind worship was one of the strongest threads in the pilot episode.
The show also had a lot of cajones for taking a pretty blantant stab at Obamania. That's something you certainly don't see everyday in Hollywood productions! O_o
Long story short: If you like a good sci-fi show and/or you're plain sick of reality shows, check out V!
