Sketchbook, Part 8: "Super Friends"!

brendalaThis idea hit me at work and I just HAD to draw it on my lunch break.
The Batman: Brave and the Bold cartoon has helped me rediscover my love of super hero camp. So I really like the idea of these three palling around and being goofy. In this picture, the story is that Batman and Wonder Woman both need a ride home (the Batwing and Invisible Jet shot down or whatever) after saving Metropolis. Batman is clearly embarrassed about being carried around by Superman and Wonder Woman thinks his pouty face is adorable.
Even though Batman looks way off and Wonder Woman is too short, I still really LOVE this drawing. Expect to see a polished version up here soon. ^_^
