BWAH!! It's King of the Hill fanart!!
Feb. 23rd, 2012 12:02 amKing of the Hill is my favorite comfort food show. I've seen every episode dozens of times and I never get tired of it. And it never ceases to amaze me that that show managed to stay on the air for 10+ years and never lose it's spark like some other Fox prime time cartoons did...

...anyhoo, while watching it last night, I got the urge to draw a picture of Bobby and Connie all grown up.

Bobby looks a bit weird. But I think it's pretty good for a quick doodle.
I loved the heck out of Bobby and Connie and part of me wishes that they had gotten back together before the show ended. In my head canon, they hook up again as adults (mainly because it drives their parents crazy).

Date: 2012-02-23 07:30 pm (UTC)Yeah, KOTH is the show I kinda fall out of then come back to. I like how it's not super overhyped but still managed to be a steady success for as long as it was.
I still enjoy The Simpsons. The earlier seasons were definitely my favorites, but some of the newer episodes are a lot of fun too. Family Guy, on the other hand, is my Masochist's Meal. I keep coming back to it just because 1% of the newer stuff is good, or at least watchable. For this one I'll stay within my own silly AU headcanon.

Date: 2012-02-23 07:56 pm (UTC)...just kidding. I still haven't seen most of the series, but it's always been a guilty pleasure for me. Something about it just always resonated with me, I guess. The cast was also great, for having so many flaws. Definitely made everyone more "human". :)

Date: 2012-02-23 11:45 pm (UTC)I guess I'm just too married to my warm fuzzy memories of Old School Simpsons to enjoy the newer stuff. The tone is just too different and it annoys me too much for me to just sit back and enjoy it.
I have the same feelings about Family Guy that you do. I'll watch it. But I usually feel bad afterwards. LOL
