I can't be the only person who thought about this when Twilight was agonizing over which friend should get her extra Grand Galloping Gala ticket.

Artist's note: I started drawing this thing right before I moved out of my old house. But I gave up halfway because my ponies looked like ass. However, I recently found the first page buried in my loose drawing folder while unpacking and I figured I might as well finish it since it was already 50% done and I really liked the joke behind it. So I got back to it and finished it yesterday.

So, there ya go. I hope it was funny enough for you to forgive the terrible artwork.

Well, sort of. In the actual episode, all the ponies were competing to get the extra ticket to a big gala that all the rich nobles would be attending. The episode tried to make it look like all the girls deserved to go; but Applejack was the only one who had a genuinely compelling reason.


I don't know how you've managed to use the internet without seeing an episode. LOL
Seriously though, the show really is good. Don't let the scary fanbase scare you away.

He he! The truth is that Applejack did have the BEST reason for going, you would think the others would have cared about that. Oh, cartoon logic. XD

Anyway, this is cute. You should totally do more on it. (With that said, I should try my hand at a few.)

I'd like to do more comics. But I really want to work on making the ponies look halfway decent before tackling another one (this one took MONTHS to draw because I kept getting frustrated with how bad it looked).
