Sly Cooper 4 is happening!! AN OFFICIAL TRAILER EXISTS!!!

I literally squealed like a pre-teen girl at a Justin Bieber concert when I found this teaser. I never thought this would happen (Sly 3 wrapped up the story pretty tight and the series seemed to have faded in obscurity) and I'm so glad I was proven wrong. I only hope the original development team is in charge and that they don't abandon the cartoony graphics just so Sly can have creepy realistic fur.

Thank goodness my sister has a PS3 I can mooch. Because my love for this series is so deep that I would totally dip into my savings and buy a PS3 just to get this game. That's how good it is. If you haven't played it, do it now.

I've been wanting to play this game series, I just hadn't been able to find a copy of the first game to play yet. I should keep an eye out for it when I go shopping in the states. ^_^

I didn't know you were a Sly fan, too! Which one is your favorite?

Tough call! I loved all of them so much! Though I think Sly 3 was actually the most fun to play.

I highly recommend trying them out if you can get them. The best way to describe the tone of the games is basically...The Disney Afternoon meets Oceans Eleven. XD

The first, second, and third Sly games were on the PS2 and they're cheap and easy to find here in the states (so the same should be true for Canada). I'd recommend starting with the second game if you want to understand why I love this series so much. The first one is good; but gameplay-wise it feels like a Crash Bandicoot clone. So it isn't as fun to play as the other two.

If you have a PS3, a compilation of all three games is currently available for that system at a really good price...

I'm planning on getting it because it has cleaned-up graphics for all three games and some unlockable extras (like new mini-games, trophies, and the Sly 4 trailer)

Sly 3 was definitely the most fun when judged purely on gameplay. A few of the new gimmicks were annoying (I HATED the Dimitri levels); but thankfully the game let you use whatever character you wanted most of the time.

The second game would have been PERFECT if only the option to replay whatever mission you want had been part of it.

The first game is good. But it's hard to replay it when you're used to having a life bar and being able to do all of Sly's basic moves right off the bat.

So....do you think Carmalita will have an accent this time? I hope she does. One of the series' few flaws was that they could never settle on the accent thing. :P

Idk. I hope they get a good voice for her. They kept changing it and it completely changed her character.
