I thought the same thing when Luna came into the picture. Rowling seemed to be setting Luna up to be Harry's final love interest. And that's yet another reason why his sudden true&eternal love for Ginny felt like it came out of nowhere.
And it doesn't say much about Harry that he goes for a girl who is fully pining for him, looks like his mom and ties his shoes
I never realized the weird Freudian implications of Harry/Ginny until you pointed them out. O_o Ew! >_<
