College Frustration

brendalaI've been researching community colleges and for-profit trade schools to look into a pharmacy tech degree. But none of them have the decency to list the prices on their websites (meaning I'm forced to call them and listen to a sales pitch when all I want is a price quote). -_-
*sigh* I really wish we were still living in the days where a person could easily get a decent job at a fair wage right out of high school (or after a short stint in a secretarial course or something like back in the day). Not everyone has the ability, inclination, and/or free time to go to a 2-4 year college and I think it's awful that every job that pays more than minimum wage expects applicants to have degrees (even if the job doesn't require one). Most college grads I've met aren't much smarter than the average Joe on the street. And the only skill many of those grads mastered after 4 years at university was the ability to consume their own body weight in alcohol, roofies, and/or marijuana without dying.
