Wally and Gus (Mission Hill)

Sadly, this was the best picture I could find of them together.
The Mission Hill Fandom is terribly small
These guys are a middle-aged gay couple living in an apartment building with the main characters. They’re insanely cute together because they buck every “gay couple” stereotype that you tend to see in the media. They’re not “fabulous” or “activists” or anything. They’re just a normal old couple that loves each other and has adorable lovers’ quarrels. And Gus seems like the kind of dude I’d run into at a GOProud meeting:
Fun Fact: Wally and Gus are actually quite revolutionary. Their kiss in the first episode was the first gay male kiss on network TV and they won the show a ton of GLAAD awards. Sadly, those awards didn’t help the show get the attention that it totally deserved and it ended after 13 episodes (and 1 1/2 animatic episodes that made their way to YouTube).
Mission Hill is hilarious. Go buy it now.
