RIP Brittany Murphy

brendalaA customer told me that Brittany Murphy died this morning and I was absolutely shocked! I adored the movie Clueless when I was in middle school and King of the Hill has been one of my favorite shows since it premiered back in the early 1990s. I didn't realize until now that I've been hearing her voice every week for the past 15 years!
I feel so bad for her family. Especially her brother because, according to the LA Times, he heard about her death on the internet before his family members could tell him!
It's shocking that a 32-year-old could suddenly die from a heart attack. I hope that illegal drugs didn't play a part in her untimely passing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying a natural death is any less tragic. I'd just hate to see another talented young star stupidly kill themselves with drugs like Heath Ledger did.
Rest in peace, Brittany. Tonight, I shall marathon my King of the Hill DVDs in your honor.
