brendalaLunar is getting a remake for the PSP!
Part of me is glad that this out-of-print gem is going to be available again. But the vindictive bitch in me hopes that this remake sucks as hard as Dragon Song simply because I don't own a PSP and have no intention of getting one anytime soon (they're too damn expensive and they have very few good games).
I'm interested in seeing if this gets a new dub when it comes stateside. If they have to redub it; I think it would be cool if they did what the Dragon Quest VIII localizing team did and hired a British studio to do the voices. I'm tired of hearing the same VAs in EVERY FREAKIN'' RPG I play (I'm looking at you, Yuri Lowenthal...).

Date: 2009-06-04 07:20 am (UTC)Also I revise my earlier stance... *holds up "Johnny Bosch for Alex" sign* Of course, the one I'm most concerned about is Ghaleon, but, well, ABSOLUTE worst case scenario: I could actually see Quinton Flynn taking the controls there. Raiden jokes aside, he's not that far off and he's actually pretty good as a Ghaleon-type of villain, if his performance in World of Warcraft is any indication. :P
