brendalaMonday's job fair was a TOTAL bust! Only 2 out of the 8 booths there were offering actual jobs (and I wasn't qualified for either of them). The rest were recruiters for trade schools, colleges, and ponzi-style commission jobs.
And even if I were inclined to go back to college right now, none of the colleges recruiting have campuses in the area. Why on earth would I commute an hour each way to the ghetto part of Los Angeles to go to some 2-bit trade school when there are plenty of them in my own backyard!?
AARG! Hey, city of Ontario, don't call it a job fair if you're not offering any real f*&%ing jobs!!! >_<
The worst part is that I could have worked at the restaurant that day but opted for the job fair instead. D'oh!!
