I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for stuff to draw; so I thought I'd ask you guys for suggestions. It can be a comic, small doodle, whatever. I just need a little inspiration.

I'm mainly trolling for cute Shaggy/Velma ideas because that's my current obsession OTP. But anything else from another fandom is welcome, too.

Most of my friends probably know about this already. But for the few who haven't heard, a new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic community has opened up! It's called  thesugarcube !

I know, I know. Why should you care about this one when there are thousands of others already dedicated to this show? Well, this one is different because it's dedicated to giving level-headed, casual fans a place to talk about the show without encountering the ridiculous "social justice wank" that has infected a lot of other MLP comms lately. In this comm, you can talk about the show and share art without running into nonsense like this. Or this. Or this.

Even if you're just curious about the show and not a fan (yet? ~_^), it's a good place to dip your toe into the fandom and meet fans who wont scare you away from ever watching it again.

I recently started thinking that I should find a good book and/or website for long hair care and style reference. Lo and behold, I saw this comm featured on the LJ front page just now.

Bless you, Livejournal. Here's hoping it's a good comm and not too troll-heavy. I know the idea of people trolling a hair-care comm of all things is bizarre. But I've learned the hard way that some people have a really creepy fetish when it comes to chicks with long hair (and the movie Tangled certainly hasn't helped with that problem :P).

I want to add a custom look to my journal and the Scooby comm I'm modding for; but I can't make heads or tails of any of the tutorials I've seen. So I just thought I'd ask you guys if any of you can explain the process to me in a "for dummies" fashion that someone with minimal tech/computer skills can understand. I'd really appreciate it! 

A few days ago, I sent a report to the LJ overlords about how the Scooby_Doo LJ community currently had no active Moderator (the Admin listed in the profile had a dead LJ account) and how the lack of a mod left the comm open to spam. Well, believe it or not, they promptly responded by making me the new Moderator! O_o
Lucky for me, there are cool people in that comm who have Mod experience and are willing to help me out with the technical stuff I'm no good at (like changing layouts).
