R.I.P. Andrew Breitbart

The conservative movement just lost it's bravest warrior...

Normally, I try to avoid making political posts on my personal journal because I want to avoid alienating my left-leaning friends (and I want to keep my personal LJ as wank-free as possible). But this is too important not to mention here.

Princess Celestia & Rainbow Dash have endorsed my favorite news/comedy/WTF show!!

I love it when my fandoms come together!

One of my favorite shows is Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld (an insane comedy/news/talk that airs at 3:00am on Fox News). Yesterday, their resident girly-man Bill Shultz reported on Brony Con and, surprisingly, didn't mock the Brony phenomenon as much as he could have. No seriously, he had a LOT of freaky material to run with and ended up giving a pretty positive report. Oh, and he got interviews and show promos out of Rainbow Dash and Celestia's voice actresses. That was pretty cool. Check it out here:

Applejack has pissed off the CIA and invaded my favorite talk show!!!!

Now that I've jumped on the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic bandwagon, I'm seeing this show EVERYWHERE! And, apparently, so is the smoking hot CIA agent/FNC Corespondent Mike Baker. Don't believe me? Check out Applejack's recent cameo on Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld!

Wierdness and conspiracy theories under the cut.... )

Red Eye has corrupted me yet again...

Y'all are aware of the smoking hot "Old Spice Guy" (aka Isaiah Mustafa), right? If not, you can catch up with him here. I can wait.

...okay. Anyhoo, normally I abhor "shipping" real people that I don't know personally (like celebrities and whatnot) because it seems like a creepy thing to do. But after seeing this on the Valentines Day episode of Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld...

....and reacting by squealing like a 12-year-old girl at a Justin Bieber concert, I think I am officially a hypocrite now. God help me.

You wanna see Isaiah Mustafa turn Ann Coulter into a puddle of twitterpated goo with the power of his Old Spicey hotness? Skip to 2:40 in the video at this link (darn thing refuses to embed in LJ for some reason) :P

And for more history on this torrid little ship, check out their first meeting here:

Ann Coulter and The Old Spice Guy. Bridging the political divide, one rose at a time. XD

HELL YEAH! Red Eye is officially kicking CNN's ass!

Finally, the Neilsen folks agree that Red Eye is the most entertaining and totally awesome news/talk show ever!

===================
MSNBC’s David Shuster became a fan of Fox News’ late-night comedy/news hybrid Red Eye just in time for its three-year anniversary.

And it’s coming at a time when the 3amET show is seeing big ratings in the A25-54 demographic – even topping CNN prime time last week.

Just like when we highlighted the show’s ratings in September 2009 (which the FNC advertising department enjoyed as well, taking out full-page ads in the New York Post and others), the ratings for last week show Red Eye beating CNN again. This time, the show had better ratings in the A25-54 demographic than Campbell Brown at 8pmET and Larry King at 9pmET, and tied Anderson Cooper at 10pmET (Monday-Thursday).

For Friday’s third-anniversary show, there was a look back at the past few years, including the second episode – which was…fairly raw. And featured an unkempt, pre-Big-Everything Andrew Breitbart.

If loving a talking newspaper is wrong, I don't wanna be right!

Red Eye's New York Times Corespondent "Pinch" never fails to crack me up....

And it looks like Patti Ann Browne aka The Notorious P.A.B. agrees with me (about 1 minute into the video)...

And, for all you Avenue Q fans, Trekkie Monster and Nicky have made a few appearances on the show.

I can't believe Red Eye doesn't have a bigger fanbase. It has stoned puppets and talking newspapers! What's not to love? ^_^
