Princess Celestia & Rainbow Dash have endorsed my favorite news/comedy/WTF show!!
I love it when my fandoms come together!
One of my favorite shows is Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld (an insane comedy/news/talk that airs at 3:00am on Fox News). Yesterday, their resident girly-man Bill Shultz reported on Brony Con and, surprisingly, didn't mock the Brony phenomenon as much as he could have. No seriously, he had a LOT of freaky material to run with and ended up giving a pretty positive report. Oh, and he got interviews and show promos out of Rainbow Dash and Celestia's voice actresses. That was pretty cool. Check it out here:

As much as I like Bill, I really wish they had sent Mike Baker instead. Not only is Mike Baker much hotter (sorry Bill, but it's true), I'm pretty sure he's a closeted Brony.
*sigh*
I know YouTube comments are notorious for being full of trolls and asshats; but it still pisses me off to see so many Bronies leave comments like "FUCK faux news for not getting it and making fun of us!!11!!! Faux News LIESSSS!!1!1one!!!".
First of all, it's painfully obvious that the segment was made to be funny, not a serious news report.
Second of all, I can't believe ANYONE sees this as a hit piece against the Bronies. The jokes made at the expense of the fandom were mild and, when Shultz talks about the event with his co-stars, he has nothing but nice things to say about it.
Also, the Red Eye people know what furries are (they joke about them a lot on the show). If they had wanted to do a hit piece against the MLP fandom, they would have. And it would have been BRUTAL!!!! Seriously, the Big Mac cosplayer and the "Cinnamon Groove" guy were practically asking for it! XD
