Some Photoshop help?

I have Photoshop on my old PC and I've been trying to combine two comic pages into one. Problem is, I can't figure out how to mash two different jpeg files together in Photoshop. I know it's possible (I took a Photoshop class ages ago), but I can't for the life of me remember how and the "help" function in that program is worthless. I tried figuring it out on my own but got frustrated and gave up after 20 minutes of fumbling with all the menus.

So, if any of you can tell me how it's done or link me to a good tutorial resource, I would appreciate it a whole lot!
