Cosplayer Problems...

I'm thinking this might become a series...

First up: "Humor Fails"

Artist's notes:
This is something that actually happened to a friend of mine at SDCC.

The ONLY reason that Jedi Dude didn't receive a beatdown from the guys in our group was because they were fairly certain that Jedi Dude had some sort of...."mental problem".

The moral of the comic is this: Conversing with cosplayers is fine. But it isn't cool to make comments/jokes/whatever about the cosplayer's race when you do not know them personally (and therefore don't know how they would take a joke like that). And, when in doubt, just politely ask for a photo, give them a thumbs up, and leave them the heck alone.

Second Comic: "Overzealous Vendors"

Some booth vendors at the cons just can't take a hint...

I know this is more of a general convention problem than a specific "cosplayer problem". But the idea came to me and I just rolled with it. Also, this happened to me while I was in costume; so it counts! XD

The sun wouldn't make a fair person's skin black, anyway. :P I really have gotten to where I don't care for the con scene, it's just too chaotic, and really if not cosplaying, not as fun. Well, aside from people who think they're funny.

"Hey Obiwan, I think you've been at the buffet too long because you're so fat. Maybe ya should try doing some force push-up*."

*It's funny because Jedi have an ability called "Force Push," it's a play on words you see...
