More of the "Inspector Cooper" AU
I finally got around to posting more art for the Inspector Cooper AU that earthstar_moon, gullwhacker, and I have been playing around with.
First some re-design ideas for Neyla
I just thought it would be fun to give her a more "ethnic" look. And, since she ends up on the run at some point in the story, a disguise that covers her up more just seems to make sense.
Next up is some more Penelope/Carmelita buddy scribbles.
I dig the idea of Penelope outfitting Carmelita's reading glasses with some sweet features in order to convince her to get over her vanity and wear them all the time.
This next one isn't related to the AU story per se (though it could possibly fit in somewhere). I just felt like drawing some fluffy "nakama" images of the gang
BONUS: Talespin cross-over / AU
Jo recently gave me some ideas for how to insert the Sly characters into the Talespin universe. So I played around with that here.
"Phineas" is a hard name to spell!! LOL
Anyway, since Penelope would likely have to pose as a man in order to work as a pilot without being harassed (yes, sexism against female pilots was a thing in the Talespin series), I decided she should have short hair. And I can see her opting to indulge in very feminine clothes when she's not flying a plane or doing mechanical work
All I did to Carmelita was zip up her jacket and put up her hair. Because why mess with perfection?
I wanted to give Neyla an outfit that was more conservative/traditional (since Talespin basically takes place in the 1930s) but also would allow her to jump around rooftops and whatnot.

Obligatory Bentley/Penelope fluff (Because F**K Sanzaru and F**K the sexist f**king forth game, that's why!!!!)
Humanized La Fwee (I feel like a dumbass because I forgot his left hand was actually a hook/sword thingy when I was drawing it >_< )

Oh, and in case you're wondering, this Sly Cooper kick will only end once my brain has been cleansed of the-game-that-shall-not-be-named. So.....it'll be a while.

Yet More Sly AU Thoughts
As part of creating the 'perfect' timeline at the end, Sly tries to partly derail the Fiendish Five. Clockwerk has to attack, but if his allies are weakened...
As part of this, he intercepts the Panda King, and basically explains about Jing and Tsao. Desperate yet earnest, and it's enough to convince him.
"I will investigate your claims. If you have spoken false, the full fury of my Flame-Fu shall fall upon you, raccoon...but if you have spoken true, then I will repay the honor-debt I owe you."
And he leaves.
Fast forward to the final timeline. As Sly's getting his bearings, a door slams open to reveal the Panda King...
"COOPER! My friend, I did not realize you had returned to down!" Immediately grabbing Sly in a bear-hug. (Now, picture Sly's expression....)

Anyway, I do love the idea of Carmelita wearing glasses. It just fits and giving Neyla a disguise works, especially since she would probably be on the run from Inspector Cooper as well.
With that said, I've been meaning to rewatch Tale Spin so I can come up with some more ideas for the Tale Spin AU. I like Sly and Penelope's design for it. With that said, did have another thought.
What if both Murry and Molly loved the "Danger Woman Radio Show"? Just imagine him playing with Molly as her "sidekick". XD It would be adorable.
