Believe it or not, I don't want to see Gadget hook up with either of them in canon either. As cute as I think Gadget/Dale is; I know it would destroy the ensemble chemistry if Gadget chose him over Chip (or vice versa) in the upcoming comic book series.
It makes for some fun fanart&fanfic; but canon should be left ambiguous.


I wasn't into any of the Harry Potter romances either (which is probably why I never got into the ship-crazed fandom). I thought Ron and Hermione were cute; but I wouldn't have thrown book 7 into the fireplace if they had broken up and married other people in the epilogue.

Kiddie romance is very hard to pull off without coming across as hokey or melodramatic. Sadly, Harry Potter is proof of that. :P
