Oh, the Gargoyles covers were always great. But the interior artist for the first three issues (I think his name is Hedgecock) has this blocky, weird style that was so dramatically different from the look of the show that I had trouble recognizing a few or the human characters.

My favorite artist in the Gargoyles books was Katherine Charlbois (I probably butchered her name there). She captured the look and feel of Gargoyles just perfectly. I was kinda bummed when she started doing the Bad Guys book exclusively because I wanted her to stay with the main comic. ^_^;
