I'd not say awful. The covers were drawn by the guy who created the art style for the characters. The inside was vastly different since each issue was drawn by a different artist. I thought it was pretty cool since the whole project was a collaboration of artists and fans who grew up loving the series (enough to draw for it!).

But...I will admit, one of my favorite chapters of the comics was the one drawn by the cover art guy. I really ought to learn his name... He's still the best at giving Brooklyn a believably fleshy and movable mouth, not just a beak. ^_-
