Corey Matthews and Topanga Lawerence (Boy Meets World)



I’m choosing them mainly because I have many warm, fuzzy, nostalgic memories of watching their relationship grow from elementary school crush to married couple. I grew up watching this relationship develop and watching this show still makes me smile even though I fully realize how corny it is.

And I still think it’s wicked cool that Corey’s dimwit older brother Eric grew up to be Batman!



Day 13: What is your favorite book pairing?
Amy and Laurie (Little Women)


Yeah, I know it's a movie cover. But it's the best picture of Amy and Laurie I could find. :P

I picked Amy and Laurie solely because the author hooked them up to as a way to say “FUCK OFF!!”  to all the annoying fans who kept sending her letters demanding she pair off Laurie and Jo. Who knew obnoxious shippers existed back in the 1800s?
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed when Jo and Laurie didn’t hook up the first time I read the book. But the story about Louisa May Alcott and her annoying shipper fans made me laugh so much that it made me feel better about it.
