The way I see it, a show should stand on it's own and the viewer should not have to follow the creator's twitter feed in order to know what is canon and what is not. Many people (myself included) don't enjoy twitter. And even if I did use twitter, why would I follow Cervone when I am clearly not a fan of his work?
